Some new polling, some old polling. All good news on the four top PA Congressional races, all of which will be Democratic steals were our candidates to win.

Oct. 30, Constituent Dynamics polling:

Patrick Murphy 50, Mike Fitzpatrick 47. I’™ve been on the edge of my seat here as Patrick looks very young. He’™s knowledgeable, a veteran, but still, he looks young. Of course, we’™re all proud of how well he’™s run his candidacy. ‘œLooking young’ is not a criticism, after all, but just what may turn out to be an irrational fear.

Lois Murphy 51, Jim Gerlach 46. I’™ve always considered this race dead even, considering the result last time, when Lois did very well. In fact, I think it amazing that Lois has allowed this race to be so close.

Oct. 8th-10th:

Joe Sestak 51, Curt Weldon 44. Great news, and this poll came out before all the shit hit the fan concerning Weldon being investigated by the FBI. Does it point to a possible landslide by Sestak? I’™ll count the yard signs on my drive through that area tomorrow and give my informal poll results. . .

Aug. 27th-29th:

Chris Carney 50, Don Sherwood 43. They don’™t poll that often in the less populated areas of PA, so this is an old poll. It scares me not to have more recent data, frankly. Could Bush’™s standing with the adulterer and abuser Sherwood have helped among the district’™s heavily Republican voters?

Can’™t wait until next week to find out. Constituent Dynamics, by the way, is a pretty fun site. Check out this map of the top 54 House races. Cool!
