Dinesh D’Souza whines like a starving dog in the Washington Post today. Evidently he couldn’t take the criticism of his book, “The Enemy at Home,” a text where he woefully misidentified those who have half-wittingly helped the spread of terror. D’Souza blamed the liberals in the US, blind to the fact that the last six years of Bush Administration policy, of which D’Souza is a supporter, has created more terrorist acts than any other set of policies in history.
What a putz and whiner.
Now there is the school of thought that we should excoriate the Post for giving dignity to D’Souza’s whines. That ignores the fact that D’Souza’s quest for dignity is more a failure than the Bush Administration policies. But he does call attention to his thrashing on The Colbert Report, and that’s a good thing.
Oh, if you want to read more about the reaction to Dinesh D’Souza’s whining, try Big Brass Blog, Angry Bear, Taylor Marsh, The Agitator, Atrios or Orcinus. They parse his essay much more thoroughly than I. For instance, Big Brass Blog notes how different D’Souza’s book’s claims are from what he says they are in today’s column. That makes D’Souza a whining weinie. But who’s counting?
