Evidently that’s the strategy on the first day of the Scooter Libby defense. Bob Woodward of the Post testified he was not told by Scooter about Valerie Plame. Walter Pincus of the Post also testified he was not told by Scooter about Plame. David Sanger of the Times testified that he was not told by Scooter about Plame. I’m willing to bet there were thousands of reporters in the country that were not told by Scooter about Plame. Bring them to the stand, by all means. Every hour costs Scooter more money, and none of that testimony addresses the notion of whether Scooter Libby lied or obstructed justice.
Oh, I forgot to mention that Robert Novak also testified that Scooter was not the one to tell him about Plame. He named the treasonous duo as Richard Armitage and Karl Rove. No, they will never be tried for that crime in a US court, but history is a different jurisdiction.

I’m not a reporter, but just for the record, Scooter never told me either. I checked with the rest of my household and nope, nothing from Scooter.
And I thought I was the only one he didn’t tell.
He didn’t tell me, either. I’m wondering now if he lied to me. Can I go to court with that?
Scooter never told me.
Maybe it’s because I didn’t let him give me a blowjob.
PoLT reviews his reportorial techinque.
Pardon my ignorance but why can’t we try Barney on these charges again? Was he given some type of immunity I failed to read about?
