Halliburton to Move Headquarters To Dubai, Keeping Office in Houston
DUBAI — U.S. oil services giant Halliburton Co. will shift its corporate headquarters from Houston to Dubai, Chief Executive Dave Lesar said Sunday.
Hmm, are the war profiteers leaving the US so they won’t be convicted? Are they leaving merely to dodge taxes and subpoenas, as Karen Tumulty of Time suggests? Can we outsource Dick Cheney?
So many questions, so little chance of honest answers.

Jeez..we defended you when it was obvious you had double-dipped me (us military). Even the regional reps in the field admitted to padding to anyone who would listen. NOW, they decide since it’s cooled down…time to run to the most decadent and slimey goverments since Deleware began protecting credit card companies..Dubai. Ain’t that where Micheal Jackson now lives? Hmm…Haliburton and Jackson killing and maiming young men for over 40 years. Way to go…wish I had something made my Haliburton to burn. Jay.
I think that now with a Dem congress, Halliburton is afraid there might be some actual oversight and they are heading out to avoid legal problems as well as perhaps paying US taxes.
When I heard about this, this morning it made me see red. The damned crooks are escaping and no one is going to do a damned thing about it.
