That sounds like it would make a really good title for a movie. Hmm! The terrorists sneak into the country through Mexico, and they settle up in Northern and rural Alabama. In a worn out trailer. Yeah, get a little local color there. And they start making homemade hand grenades using fireworks for their raw materials. Essentially they are making IEDs.
Of course, we’d need to add in the story of the innocent citizen who figured out these Muslims hiding in Alabama were up to no good.

i love the headline though - yeah, focus on how the defense attorney says it’s nothing. he states that since the grenades were made with household products they weren’t really that dangerous (HELLO? fertilizer, clorox…). then go to the last sentence of the article and you find out that the fireworks used to make the grenades were commercial grade and it’s a felony to even possess them in alabama, let alone make grenades out of them.
but yeah, nothing to see here, they ain’t muslims.
oh, jesus christ…just went back to look at that article again…you have to look a the caption under the photo of the leader to get the tidbit that he’s a federal fugitive…but really he’s just a nice white man, living the simple life of the american pioneer, independent spirit and all that…

i wish some reporter would follow up and find out just exactly why there’ve been so many oil refineries that get shut down anymore, chemical plant fires, water plants puttin out toxic water…but ‘it’s not related to terrorism’…who says so? sounds pretty suspicious to me…

What “terrorism” are we talking about? These are some losers with guns living in “makeshift tents” and trailers without power. There’s zero evidence that they’ve ever hurt anybody or plotted to hurt anybody, at least in the AP story.
yeah james i guess we’re supposed to just assume that they steal commercial grade fireworks and make grenades and launchers for them for what…hunting? y’know not finding a plan doesn’t mean they don’t have one. the point is though, that if these guys had brown skin and foreign sounding names abu gonazales would have held a press conference to herald these arrests. thousands of iraqis have been arrested for far less, and i’m pretty sure you know that your argument is disingenous at best.
