Which Republican Presidential Candidate Will Condemn “Paul Hill Days”

Someone should ask every one of those candidates. They’ve all come out against abortion, even Rudy Giuliani, though sometimes it is hard to understand his stance. But I want to know how they stand on “Paul Hill Days.” I want to know how they stand on the most radical of American groups that encourage and praise as heroes people like Paul Hill.
Those groups who support murderers? That sounds like terrorist behavior to me. Heck, Saddam did the same thing, supporting terroists, as these folks do. Children Need Heroes seeks to make sure every child knows that Paul Hill and others who have committed violence and murder are true heroes. How sick can you get? StreetPreach.com praises such groups as Army of God, and such individuals as Eric Rudolph. Hey, they’ve got links to how you can write inmates who were sent to jail for doing violence to abortion clinics. Very, very sick.
It is time for Republicans to step up. Do those Republican Presidential candidates remain silent about these domestic terrorists in our midst, or do they condemn them for what they are? Let’s have a roll call. Guiliani? Romney? Brownback? MCCain? Thompson? Thompson, Tommy? Tancredo? Which one of you will fight domestic terrorism?
Does any one of those Republican candidates have the guts to speak out against domestic terrorism like this? Does the media have the guts to ask them the question?

I think Paul Hill Days is a good idea. People should acknowledge the good deed he did in stopping that babykilling abortionist from murdering any more innocent children.
Gotta love the “Preborn babies.”
And as I carefully avoid acknowledging the insanity of that first comment, let me just say the Republican candidates will distance themselves from these groups but in the end they’re counting on them for support. One of the most depressing conversations I’ve had was with a pro-choice woman in 2004, who said she was going to vote for Bush because of security reasons. I tried to talk about pro-life nuts who will get what they want and become stronger, but she didn’t listen. Of course, none of her twenty-something pro-war sons is thinking of joining the army.
I meant to put up a warning that we’d get folks from Army of God in here to comment. It looks like Rev. Spitz, the representative of Army of God, has decided to pay us a visit. The SPLC profile of Rev. Spitz is here: http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?aid=72. It isn’t pretty at all.
I’m not going to dignify his response more. Donald Spitz is as much a terrorist as Saddam Hussein, to my view, in that he encourages terrorism. By the standards of the Bush Administration, were they consistent, Donald Spitz would have been in Gitmo for five years now. And since there is evidence of Spitz encouraging terrorism, it is unlikely Spitz would have been released by now.
saddam hussein? this lunatic spitz is more like bin laden. hussein was at least the ruler of his country, no less legit than many of our allies.
steve, i just left this comment on this story over at kos…
christian theocratic revolutionaries, who they say paul hill was setting a good example for, are no different from islamic theocratic revolutionaries, and it does seem that together they are taking over the world.
when over 60% of the people in this country admit to believing in creationism and the literal word of the bible, we are in serious trouble. they are essentially retarded and incapable of reason and critical thinking. and we expect them not to be violent in defense of their fantasies?
get your guns while you can, because they are coming for you as soon as they can figure out how. and don’t for a minute think that blackwater, caci and custer battles aren’t training troops for the front line against you and me right now, with our tax dollars.
Somegirl, I defintely think these folks are dangerous. I am worried at giving my own name on this blog. I’ll be watching my back for the next few days.
That said, evil people will reap their own rewards — and that includes Donald Spitz, of course. There is no God out there who will sanction his behavior.
It’s good to see that Frederick Clarkson’s Theocrat of the Week story from Talk to Action is getting the attention it deserves. And I think your idea is a good one. Get them all on record — now.
paul hill acted correctly.
the prolife movement recommended storming the gates and acting like abortion is murder, of course there are bombers and shooters.
All of the typical rhetoric notwithstanding, the justification of Paul Hill’s use of deadly force revolves around one question: were the little preborn lives that he defended,in fact, people? If they are peole, then the only rational and sane response is to give Paul Hill the honor that we seek to give him with Paul Hill Days.
I intend to participate and am anxious to join those others who will not be marginalized by the threats of your rhetoric. We are marginalizing YOU. I, along with my brethren, have concluded that the preborn are human beings and are therefore worthy of being protected by the same justifiable measures that can be, and are, used to protect the born. Paul Hill did a good deed. We seek honor to whom honor is due!
Wow! Another advocate of murder. I heard recently tyhat Wisconsin Right to Life has washed its hands of this event. Too bad you can’t be as sane and law-abiding as them.
Steven, are you stupid or did you just not read what I worte? When does human life begin? If at conception, as we contend, then it is reasonable to defend those people just as anyone who is born. Answer the question.
like all pro-choicers you are consistently ignoring the real question
are unborn children trully living human beings?
if they are, then all abortionists are murderers
and most of them of them have slaughtered hundreds (thousands?) of inocent childeren
if the unborn are living human beings then you are the advocate of murder
if you think the unborn are not human then you are going to have to explain why
