Jenna Getting Married?
Jenna in white, striding down the steps to join her beloved in holy matrimony. I hope they will be happy.
Ah, there’s nothing like a White House wedding. And if the white gown on the bride is a little distended in the middle, well, what’s the problem! It’s not like abstinence education is a complete failure, is it?
I wonder if they’ll rush the wedding planning so that they can have it at the White House? I just hope that if they do, none of it is at the taxpayer expense. Grumble, grumble.
And I know you’re making a joke, but there’s no way in hell that Jenna Bush got “abstience only eduction” for her sex ed. Her family’s rich - she got the best education possible, including instructions on how not to get herself pregnant and where to get discrete abortions if something didn’t go right. That’s part of the privelege of being in the elite. And in those snarky photos from Wonkette she doesn’t look pregnant OR fat - just like she’s wearing something particularly unflattering and approaching thirty years old. I know an unfortunate number of people who partied hard in their early twenties and didn’t catch on to the fact that their metabolism was changing and they needed to cut back on the burgers and beer and step up with the veggies and exercise.
I don’t care for Jenna any more than I do any other Bush family member, but I wish people would quit gratuitously picking on her. It’s not her fault her father is shaping up to be the worst president ever. Snarky commentary on whether she’s pregnant is beyond stupid. If she is, it won’t be any secret for long.
One good thing about the Bush progeny: The antics of Jenna, Barbara and cousin Noelle have made wingnuts permanently shut up about Chelsea Clinton.
yeah it’s not her fault her father is an asshole. but it is her fault she’s marrying a young thug who was worked on the campaign and worked for rove too. she’s fair game. i think it would be fun if she is pregnant. i was surprised to see how much larger she is than not jenna in a recent video of them together. so jenna gets to be the “pretty sister” and the “fat sister.” ha!

No they haven’t. Chelsea Clinton is still a favorite target when she shows up in the media. She’s just smart enough to fly low and stay under the radar and out of the public eye most of the time. But be sure, if there’s a wedding announcement the old “White House dog” cracks will come out again.

She’s not fat. That irritates me as much as idiots calling Chelsea Clinton “ugly”. Neither she nor her sister are fat or ugly - poor Barbara inherited a bit more of the “Bush” side of that family than one might want but she’s still not “ugly”. She’s a public figure, and her lifestyle choices offend me because she had the opportunity to do something worthwhile with her fortune and her life and she chose to party and live the life of a ‘celebutante’ instead - so basically she gets slightly less contempt from me than Paris Hilton. But attacking her because of her physical attributes instead of because of her choices seems really silly. Especially given how many bad choices she’s made.
