Larry Craig Knows the Innertubes!
Larry Craig claims to know nothing about the internet, on national television, but his committee assignments show him to be either a liar or stupid. He seems to be true to form. Hey, this is the guy who makes the laws and then claims he didn’t know he needed counsel when he broke the laws. Idiot!
Well, Larry Craig says he doesn’t know anything about the internet. He told Matt Lauer that he only uses email, and only upon his crackberry. But the evidence, as compiled by Examiner.com, begs the contrary:
When Lauer asked Craig whether he knew about the Minneapolis airport bathroom’s reputation as a “hot spot” for gay trysts, Craig said: “Matt, you won’t believe this. But I don’t use the Internet. I don’t have a computer at my desk. I’ve never used the Internet. It’s just not what I do. I e-mail with my BlackBerry. No, I did not know that. I had no reason to know that.”
That’s interesting, in light of the following:
» In an op-ed he wrote this summer on the SCHIP health care program, Craig refers to doing a Google search on the term “mission creep.”
» He’s a member of the Congressional Internet Caucus.
» He co-sponsored a bill designating June 2007 as National Internet Safety Month.
» He was presented with the 2007 Internet Keep Safe Coalition Award.
» On his Web site, he lists as a top accomplishment a Silver Mouse Award given to his site in 2003 and 2006 by the Congressional Management Foundation in 2003 and 2006.
» When he endorsed Mitt Romney for president, he did so on YouTube.
I suppose Larry Craig didn’t find out about that hot restroom spot in the Minneapolis airport through the internet. Oh, yeah, sure. But his assertion that he doesn’t know about the internet is bogus. He’s demonstratively been in the forefront with legislation about the internet. When he says he knows nothing about it, he’s claiming he’s . . . incompetent.
Which is not surprising. He’s a Republican incompetent? Oh, or a liar, and none of that is surprising.
All that is true concerning Larry Craig is that he’s the gift that keeps on giving. We can only hope he decides to run for reelection.

How come nobody asked him if he was a pitcher or a catcher?
Sadly, he’s not the only one so out of touch with reality. Do we really want leaders who willingly admit that they are morons?
Maybe he should link up with Ted Stevens since he is claiming he doesn’t know anything about those internets. He might learn something about those confusing internets.
After all…we all know its just a series of tubes, and not a big truck you just dump stuff on.
