Another Republican Guilty, GOP Scrambles to Kick Him Out of Office
Bob Allen, even with his racist defense, went down for soliciting sex in a bathroom. Maybe they should just change the labels on the doors of all men’s rooms in all legislatures to “Republican Caucus.”
Family man and family values voter Bob Allen was convicted this weekend of soliciting sex in a restroom in Tutusville, FL. You remember the story, I’m sure, that Bob Allen has claimed, in his defense, that there were some black guys hanging out near the public restroom, evidently the best excuse possible for trying to pay a guy for some sort of naked lube job. I’m thinking his defense didn’t work so well. The Orlando Sentinel is on the case:
Seconds after he was convicted Friday of soliciting a sex act in a park bathroom, legislative leaders were discussing how to remove him from office.
“This conviction makes it impossible for Rep. Allen to represent responsibly the citizens of his district,” Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio said in a statement. “Furthermore, it is my personal belief that it harms the reputation of the Florida House of Representatives. We will now take the appropriate steps.”
They just can’t get rid of Bob Allen fast enough. It’s been over three years since I was registered in his district, but I’m smiling this morning.
My favorite part of the Sentinel article was the last sentence:
Eisenmenger said he decided not to put Allen on the stand because he “didn’t think it was necessary.”
I bet he didn’t! Putting that cocksucking schmuck on the stand would have been tantamount to malpractice.
Perhaps the GOP logo should now be a drain with an elephant circling it.
Oh, my those religious, santified, moral, family value, gay bashing, straight laced repugs; it’s just terrible how they are falling from GRACE by the wayside. I’m lying don’t you know.
This is the best thing that has ever happened to this party of hypocrites. Did they not know, that what’s done in the dark will come to light? I guess not….they did it. This is the most stupid bunch of people in one party I have ever seen. I do believe that would be one of the requirements (act stupid, be a pervert, a pedophile, whoremonger, toe tapper, butt buddy, a cornhole chaser and the list could go on and on). Everything they accused the Democrats of it has happened to them. For instance, poor Clinton, they were ready almost to get the hangman’s noose for him. I don’t agree with what he did; but, it was consensual. Also, a WOMAN of legal age, not a prostitute nor a man. I do hope Jeff Gannon will reveal to the public his visits at the Pink House and what happened on some of his 200 visits there.
Homophobia is no more acceptable or progressive if its target is a conservative. People of all types have sex in the bathroom all the time and the popular media glorifes it among heterosexual couples. I guess we can become as bad as them; with our snide remarks and intolerance; or we could demand justice and equality for Mr. Allen, even though we don’t like him, even though he stands for everything we oppose. If the American people are to wake up in regard to the Republican party, it would be better if it were due to their destructive policies, not where they have sex; not only could that backfire, but it is morally wrong.
Mike, I’ve never seen bathroom sex glorified, either by liberal or conservative media, mainstream or even minor media. Please name your source or be ridiculed.
The Republicans should be ridiculed because so many of them profess to high moral values and then succomb to the basest and ugliest of values, often sexual. That’s why they should be the object of our disgust.
