80 Afghans Blown Up at a Dog Fight
Apparently, dog fighting is enough of a spectator sport in Afghanistan that 80 people can be killed, and scores injured, when a suicide bomber blows his/herself up at a dogfight in the BushCo Democratized City™ of Kandahar…no comment yet from Michael Vick…
My first reaction when I read the following story was not about 80 dead Afghans, nor scores of wounded brown skinned, turban-headed men watching a dogfighting match in a fourth world country, but thoughts of Michael Vick. And the dogs. And that’s just sick of me to think that way.
On the other hand, if a bunch of (real, canine) dogs were killed in the blast and we could get photos of the various puppy body parts scattered around the fighting cage, maybe someone in America would actually give a shit about what’s happening over there.
[Sigh.] Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.
No word on the condition of any of the canines.

A large crowd. A dogfighting event. Right near one of the small oases of alleged “democracy” in war torn Afghanistan.
