Sarah Palin Condemns Women to Hell, Which May Be in Virginia
The negative campaign has begun. Sarah Palin is threatening American women with Hell if they don’t support her. Meanwhile, John McCain’s brother claims Northern Virginia is a communist country. These folks are engaged in foot shooting, so Karl Rove’s predictions on the race are not all that surprising — he’s predicting Obama.
Sarah Palin tried to make a joke today. Maybe she’s just watching a little too much Tina Fey or something. This time Sarah Palin, who reads all the newspapers, don’t ya know, decided to quote from a coffee cup. After all, Starbucks is a better news source than the New York Times, right? Anyway, Sarah Palin screwed up the quote, and the result of her mangling is that she wants to send a whole bunch of women to Hell. Here’s the story at CBS News, but I’ll quote from Nico Pitney at Huffington Post:
At a rally on Saturday in California, Sarah Palin offered up a rather jarring argument for supporting the Republican ticket. “There’s a place in Hell reserved for women who don’t support other women,” the Alaska Governor said, claiming she was quoting former Clinton Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
Hey ladies, would you rather go to Hell or support Sarah Palin? This explains why Palin isn’t getting much support from women, because they know Sarah Palin has no intention of supporting the rights of women. There’s a nastiness there behind the stupid smiley exterior of Sarah Palin, and it’s going to start losing votes for the Palin/McCain ticket.
Meanwhile ladies, would you rather go to Hell or to a communist country, like maybe Virginia? If Sarah Palin is working as hard as she can to repel women voters, then John McCain’s brother Joe is doing the same for voters in Virginia. He called it a communist country today, as is mentioned here in the AP story:
Joe McCain, speaking at an event in support of his brother, called two Democratic-leaning areas in Northern Virginia “communist country,” according to a report on The Washington Post’s Web site.
“I’ve lived here for at least 10 years and before that about every third duty I was in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country,” Joe McCain said at an event in Loudon County, Va.
As the Associated Press article notes, John McCain owns a condominium in communist Northern Virginia. That means John McCain is a communist, right? Or maybe if you are sent to Hell by Sarah Palin, you are sent to Northern Virginia and have to visit John McCain. Oh, I’m so confused. All I know is that the Republicans and their surrogates are costing themselves votes, and that’s a good thing. Heck, even Karl Rove says the Republican ticket is failing, at least electorally. Yes, that’s Rove’s own web site where he predicts 273 electoral votes for Obama, with another 102 up for grabs.

waitaminit, Sarah Palin didn’t support Hillary Clinton! I guess I’ll be meeting Palin in Hell - no?
Ol cranky is a woman?
