Whack Job Scenario: SCOTUS to Decide Election
The whack jobs are trying to get the Supreme Court to review whether Barack Obama was really born in the US. They will fail, but they’re all excited. Clarence Thomas accepted the challenge to the conference of the SCOTUS, which pretty much seals his reputation as a partisan hack. It’ll be fun to watch regardless.
WingNutDaily is reporting today that the Supreme Court has accepted the Philip Berg challenge to Barack Obama’s citizenship for conference on December 5th. It appears the case was first submitted to Justice Souter, who denied the request. When resubmitted to Justice Thomas, one of the Justices who helped decide the 2000 election, the petition was accepted. The hearing will be December 5th, 10 days before the Electoral College meets on Decemeber 15th.
The right wing whack jobs are going all nutso over this one. Philip Berg, a whack job from here in Philly, is the lead on this action, and his web site, www.obamacrimes.com, is going nuts. (Isn’t it odd that they have a web site devoted to crimes by Obama a full two months before he is inaugurated?)
Let’s just say this. If the Supremes, in their infinite wisdom, decide to invalidate documents recognized by the State of Hawaii, when this Supreme Court has been steadfastly behind the notion of state’s rights, then there will surely be riots in the streets. That this case was accepted for review by Clarence Thomas seals his dismal legacy.

as skewed as some of the folks on SCOTUS are, I can not believe any of them would actually lend credence to this BS by accepting this case. If SCOTUS invalidates the birth certificate issued by Hawaii, nobody in this country can be considered verified as US born since the state issued certificate is the proof that is used to confirm place of birth and qualification of citizenship, not the hospital certificate.
“…there will surely be riots in the streets.”
And THAT might be something that is eagerly anticipated by hideously misshapen, grotesque beings that are still in power in this country:
“Here to Stay, 14,000 Strong, and Armed With Non-Lethal Weapons - America, Meet Your New Local Military”
(Some text): “A few days ago, small reports were coming out about a new military unit that was going to be stationed within the United States of America. I first heard the report from a friend and suddenly I found myself dizzied by the amount of curse words flying through my head.
“The original story that I read was in a blog that included a small excerpt. The title was enough to get me started:
“Army Unit to Deploy in October for Domestic Operations”.
@ ol cranky:
I am confused, I thought they had only agreed to hear the Writ of Cert, and Souter had accepted that, not Thomas.
You guys need to read leo Donofrio’s lawsuit.Completely illiterate leftards cannot handle the sophistry of legal arguments. You do not to watch though cause OBAMBI will crash and burn on this suit.WATCH and SEE!!!
Ooops , Mayflower is off the meds again…there is not really any such thing as an illiterate leftard.
Most illiteracy is in places where they don’t vote left - if they were literate , they would always vote left.
Only 3rd grade education FAUX news viewers vote against their own interests.
Mayflower… . sophestry is trickery, a superficially plausible, but generally false method of reasoning… it is not the same as sophistication.
Your argument that we “leftards” are bad because we don’t buy into false methods of reasoning (deception/propaganda/etc) is quite frankly laughable.
Thanks for the using a not-so-well-known word… but in using it, you’ve only demonstrated to everyone that you have a complete misunderstanding of the very words you try to use and are probably only using them in a vein, failed attempt to look intellectual.
True intellectuals see straight through it, true intellectuals voted for the more intelligent choice. America has grown up politically and is far more astute than the GOP was prepared to believe.
While I applaud the majority of American people for waking up and growing up on all political levels, it’s a pity there are still those trapped inside a bubble of shared, paranoid, fanatical delusion.
Great response, VoR. Careful with misuse of words, however. I think the word you are looking for is VAIN, not VEIN. Vain in this usage is to indicate hopeless. A vein is …..well you know. Anyhow, very astute response.
Mayflower, my guess is that your words are correct, although not in the way you intended. To prevail, the sophistry of this lawsuit must be prodigious* to such a degree that a majority of Justices is deceived - unlikely, or deceitful - more likely, unfortunately.

Tenny, my experiences with literates always voting left are different. On Nov. 4, the man behind me in line to vote was a cosmopolitan, well-educated Republican who was going to vote for McCain. He knew I was voting for Obama, and we had a cordial, respectful conversation for 30 minutes, waiting for the polls to open.
He’s one of many such Republicans I’ve encountered and read about, and maybe their voices will be heard more often, now that the party is analyzing its defeat.
Yo, Scotty, it’s not likely to happen. I think the infighting in the Republican Party is going to take down the educated and sane wing far before it takes down the wing nuts.
You gotta hear this 90 minute blogradio on why the media has a blackout of the looming Obama Birth Certificate Constitutional Crisis:
