Palin’s Wearing the RNC’s Clothes Again!
Watlzing down the runway in the back woods of Georgia is the ever fashionable Sarah Palin, wearing some of thouse tens of thousands of dollars worth of RNC clothing she said she was returning. Look, look! That’s an accountant from the RNC chasing her! She dodges left and then sprints back toward the podium. Whoa Nellie!
Well, she told us she returned the clothes, but the pictures over on Huffington Post sure seem to say something else. Not that the Republican base has a problem with a grifter or anything. They still love George Bush, after all.
Oh, but wait! There’s a little piece from the Wall Street Journal that wonders, back at the time, what happened to all those clothes.
The interview didn’t answer a major fashion question, however. Gov. Palin reiterated that a third of the clothes purchased were not worn and were returned to stores and another third were worn and returned to the RNC. She did not say what would happen to the last third, which she said she had never seen.
Did Palin keep them so she could go campaigning for Saxby? One thing, it looks as if the RNC has made a major investment here, and it ain’t just moose meat they want in return. The next four years will be fun to watch.
